Charities and non-profits play a key role in addressing persistent and complex social challenges faced by communities across Canada. The $400 million investment from the Government of Canada responded to the needs of Community Service Organizations as they navigated the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Community Services Recovery Fund supported organizations in adapting, modernizing, and recovering from the pandemic to continue their critical work of serving their communities. Projects concluded in June 2024, but the impact of the Community Services Recovery Fund will continue.
